Stunning Interior Design

The white warm bedroom glows with delicate golden birds printed on the wallpaper, a brushed gold Moroccan-style pendant light fixture and a metallic sheen on the French château-style bedframe.

The Vancouver living room with a bleached-hardwood floor and an architectural mantel and fireplace has a mix of modern furniture and vintage finds.

The stylish tiny Vancouver studio features dramatic colours against a mostly white backdrop with bold hues evoking a subtle Morroccan vibe.

The living room in a soft palette, with crisp lines and tailored furniture makes a beautiful tranquil and serene space.

Luxury Interior Design - Art Deco Home of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

Luxury Home Interior Design

The relaxing and cozy Lopez-Anthony's California home, featured in Veranda Magazine February issue, was remodeled by interior designer Michelle Workman, who says: "It's sort of Jennifer in a nutshell—she has a romantic streak".

The Art Deco 1940s style residence is sun-filled and spacious, the ethereal blue-grays, velvet sheens and shimmering silvers truly captivate.

In another designer's hands, all of the grays and blues could feel like a cold draft. Workman chose fabrics such as silk, velvet and leather that have a highly tactile and welcoming character. She used chandeliers that warmly reflect light. She also added brass and bronze accessories to raise the temperature in the rooms.

The designer says:"I love to mix gold and silver tones. It's warm and cool together. Gold is traditional, and silver is modern and sleek. It's a great marriage of feminine and masculine."

Wonderful White House in Gothenburg

...full of wonderful things for those who love shabby chic

Country Home Interior Design

May-Louise and Magnus Kruse purchased the property in 2000. The house is located in Bohuslan Archipelago near Gothenburg, Sweden. It was an old house built in 1892 and it was not more than 90 square meters and the family contacted the architect Alf Olsen thinking about developing. But the artchitect said it was better to demolish and build a new house. Alf Olsson, inspired by the old sketches of the island villas of the time, created a design in the late 1800's style.

The entire ground floor is one large room with a ceiling height of up to 7.5 meters. With the living room and dining room combined, the family set up a fireplace there to keep it warm in winter. The Interior style is eclectic: a bit rustic, a little modern, some antique and some industrial design in the finest detail. {skonahem.com, photo: Mari Eriksson}

Modern House Interior Design by fernlund+logan architects

This early modernist house was designed by Charles Warner in 1940. Afetr been neglected for years, it was given a new life as a secondary residence for a couple of New Yorkers and their kid.
The original circulation and main features of the house were lost when it was converted to a multiple dwelling. Assisted by the original plan, published in a MoMA guide to Modern Architecture in the Northeast States, the house was restored and functionally updated. An enclosed glass walkway facing a rear terrace was reconfigured to link the second floor living area to the exterior. A large stone fireplace was exposed on all sides opening the kitchen to the living and dining areas. The house's most notable feature, a 45 foot long expanse of waist height windows, was adapted as a library for the owners extensive collection of books

neat, simple, and stunning!

The Danish company aims at designing interior products with a graphic touch - wallpaper, kitchen items, textiles. Interestingly, the company originates from a graphic design agency in Aarhus, Denmark, founded in 2005 by Trine Andersen. Mostly for fun, Trine went to see a a clairvoyant, but was astonished when the clairvoyand saw a little bird sitting on a branch, not knowing which way to fly. This image was essential for Trine’s decision to follow her dream of starting her own business. And the little bird knows exactly where to go and now sits on top of the company logo. {ferm-living.com}
